I ended up having a great day afterall hahahaha impromptu days are nice days!
Met kak faizah at cathay for maki san and then we paid daiso a friendly visit and somehow picked up masks because we decided to go to Ashwood to check this out year's Halloween event
Since the last time I went (like... 10 years ago is it hahahaha) I always thought it was an unofficial neighbourhoodish family friendly event but there were security and roadblocks mannn legit!
Settled down at burger king when we arrived because we were a bit early + I had to give my plain white mask a makeover
Whatever was in my brain did not translate to my hand and appear on the mask but it turned out more than well because it turned out to be a hit!
We wore our masks from Fuchun CC and omg im so sorry for the people who got a semi heartattack seeing me hahahaha
People were running away and some immediately looked away pretending not to see me
2 kids were so scared they waved (literally facing their fears kudos) and gave the most insincere smiles ever hahahaha cute omg
We couldnt stop laughing because didnt expect people to acknowledge our last minute (and I mean laaaast minute) costumes and ACTUALLY be scared I felt like I did halloween right ahahaha
Another thing was that I was about to step out of my house wearing a blue dress with a hoodie but literally went back in to change to a black one which is longer but still has a hoodie and a black cardigan
Turned out to my advantage because the hoodie tied the costume together
Didnt want to trick or treat because bruh kids everywhere (give them chance la) but by the end of the night we were just like "You know what we deserve candy" and then the houseowners all complimented my costume HAHAHAHA it's amazing
I loved it, everyone was dressed up lovely- some notable ones were 2 flinstones family (who found each other and took a photo together hahaha cute), a Saw kid which was the scariest to me cause he (or she) was small and rode in a tricycle like idk his intentions, baby elephant and his safari family, baby pumpkins, a group of teenagers wearing floaties, a kid wearing homework, "No MRT service" signs, a baby minion (too cute i cry), a hawaiian family, a couple of chefs and their baby as a cupcake (CRAP LA CAN U SEE HOW AMAZING THESE COSTUMES ARE), King Elvis
I saw these two (I think) African-American kids wearing supergirl costumes and idk the contrast of their skin with the red and blue was so freaking beautiful I cant look at superwoman/supergirls the same way again I loved it (im only commenting cause ive never seen it in real life so I was in total awe maigahhh)
Then there were those costumes where it looks like you're riding dinosaurs or unicorns or a pony those were super cute
There were 4 sumos hahaha goodluck walking
A few marios (but I only saw 1 luigi hahaha)
A family was dressed as the scooby doo gang and they even had the van in their house???? ULTIMATE
And then nearby there was a scooby baby ahahahais i cant with the babies
A few pirates of the carribean and It (of course) themed outfit!
A loootttt of clowns and werewolves and vampires
And then there was kak faizah the catwoman and I the... scary nothing
(Did I finally find my stage name or what)
(Scary nothing hahahah)
Now im in a lot of stranger's camera rolls but it's ok cause noone knows my identity
Even when kak fitri arrived she didnt want to acknowledge me cause she said she was scared hhaahah rabak man give chance please
So, from a sick human in bed in the morning I ended my day being a source of entertainment and spending time with awesome humans
What more could I ask for!
