What's more frustrating that ignorance is being knowledgable but not being able to do anything with that knowledge
Today turned out fine despite both daya and I missing the test hahahaha please la I woke up 40 minutes before the test I cant find it in me to rush to batam (im exaggerating ntu is not that far- but technically batam is nearer to my house hahahahaa ok kidding again)
So I left home and at the bus stop decided that perhaps I should skip school altogether and it would be nice to visit vivo or sentosa instead.
I took the next bus that arrived which turned out to be the bus that goes to Harbourfront hahahahahah fate
So in the bus I texted my Chloe asking whether she was attending class because last night she said we technically could skip class since we booked the vocal coaching session next week (but I told her we could go support our classmates hahahah)
Skali turns out she was going to class so I alighted at Newton and made my way to school ahahahais
When I arrived, Dr Chia was coaching only the 2nd person because apparently everyone wanted to go next week instead hahaha.
Also, 2 things happened simultaneously as I stepped into class
Vicky said: Wani you're next (psht obviously not im scheduled for next week)
Zhi xuan said: How was Sentosa (aka Chloe told the professor why i'll be late and apparently the class heard it hahahahaa I cant even)
And then Dr Chia started calling out 2 names who refused to sing today and it landed on my name but then he said "Oh wait you're going next week right"
And idk I just had a Mitchie torres moment (ok I actually literally quoted Mitchie from camp rock HAHAHA) by saying that I'll sing if noone else wants to
And that's the story of how I got stuck with the song Hero because I actually didnt prepare any songs beforehand and it was the only melody in my brain as I stood in front of the class hahahahah whatever man
Then Chloe with her sick self volunteered to sing today too (since too many people wanted to postpone) so we turned from being the only humans who put down our dates as next week to clearing our session today (the rest actually selected both the days man hahaha)
Ok la then we walked around JP trying to find food and because we were trying to avoid humans we ended up at pizza hut- the emptiest place we could find
Journey home was peaceful I missed my personal bus time haahahah got such thing
AH I keep forgetting I have a performance later in the afternoon I was excited at the thought of going to vivo or sentosa since I didnt manage to do it just now
This is a weekend of wilderness (ok no animals involved but still)
In the words of my demdems, I will survive!
Btw I slept at like 10.30 just now, and woke up 2 hours later please I couldve used a better sleep experience but ok la better than nothing right
