omg it's finally here!
it's like an insane time to be excited but who cares?!
today i'd get to eat too much food, and meet too many people (cousins! uncle aunties grandma grandpa!) and get $$ haaha kidding dont really care bout that part.
the important thing is cousins! xD

black wedge. (i usually wear stilettos for raya but bringing it up a notch this year)

for me it's mixed feeling.
my uncle who passed away last october's birthday is today :/

my mum and her siblings must find it hard.
he's always been one of the life of the parties.
we'll try to keep their minds off it by asking for food again and again!
anyway just now at 6am, i woke up and was like "dangg, i didn't wake up for predawn!" until i saw my grandma ironing my bro's raya costume.
then i peacefully slept back
my bros and dad at the mosque, performing the raya prayers!

hahahaha ok so usually in my family, while waiting for the lads to return from the mosque, we girls prepare fooooood!
we'll all wear a random raya costume for morning.
then we'll all lepak infront of tv till about noon, and then we'll change to out "first day costume" as we know it.
cause first day is usually for closest relative, which is parent's parents.
all aunties cousins eill meet there.
sometimes other siblings would tKe charge, and grandma and grandpa will meet there.
so it's really exciting as it's bonding and just in malay term, "mengeratkan silaturahim".
i must start working on my malay after almost 7 months not using is properly.
okay! i think i should experimant with hairstyles while waiting!
anyway i'm starting this question for today thing since i'm receiving asks on tumblr, which is sooo exciting too! :D
