No hate to Depp, but the new Grindelwald is an absolute yes
The charisma of calm, i'm-not-evil-evil matches young dumbledore well
The movie is definitely visually stunning but i'd prefer tighter storyline than the general actions
It felt like a decent transition movie, more like an episode in a drama besides the grand cinematography and settings and special effects (the disappearing note, the bridge of paper are two that immediately comes to mind)
The Qilin not cute hahahahaa oops it definitely wont bow down to me now
I was 40% entertained, 60% wanting more answers
But at the same time appreciated it wasn't (too) rushed, but at the same time dreading that the next movie will take years again (keep up the moMENTUM, cmon)
Admitantly I never watched Fantastic beasts, I watched Crimes of Grindelwald a few times
I don't really fancy the way the stories are conveyed, script wise, even though the concepts and connections are all mindblowing and very value adding to our love for the HP universe
And I always loathe a love storyline within an otherwise/already great story (Wonderwoman i am looking at YOU)
Also I totally thought the german minister guy was Grindelwald they look the SAME but humans said not at all pfft u all are wrong hahahaha
Of course, can feel the absence of Nagini and Leta
Also ugh @ singapore cinemas can stop making the movies with chinese subtitles the most timings I swear english subtitles timings are always too early or just non existent I cant decipher the european accents sometimes ok i need subtitles
But also the quality of vfx makes me wonder how epic actual harry potter movies would look like
But dont want ah they too much sometimes lol so many visuals no content (coughs marvel movies cough)
K bye
