Hello!
Just felt like it's an apt time to blog- we have half hour before we leave our hotel rooms for checkout before proceeding straight to the airport, me thinks.
I was sleeping between 7-8am, and guess what- (actually this happened last night too) i'm already having dreams about this trip and the group :')
I truly will miss this experience, it has tons of ups and downs- I think more than Mount Patirana can offer- but what matters is what we feel in the end.
And right this moment before we have to leave, I say I feel good.

Last night Abi ustaz thoha and family drove down to surabaya just to have teatime (at night eh hahah) with us, and that is such a sweet gesture.
The people in ishlah are so thoughtful and beyond themselves; I promise just being there makes you auto better yourself.
I hope all of us finds it in ourselves to carry the good habits home, afterall the best souvenirs are unseen.

This feels like home to me.
And although i'm probably the least involved in the team (cue lonerness) i'd dare say that this OE would have not been the same without each and every soul here.
I'm into the thought that everyone has a story we probably cannot have guessed from the surface, and it had been a true waste I spent 18 days together with them and have not gotten the chance to learn to understand them better.

But that's life, sometimes in fleetingness we dread and sometimes in dread, fleetingness goes on.
The trip could not have gone any other way try it might.
Alhamdulillah, Allah always has the best plans for us.
May all our deeds be accepted by Him.
I'll keep Al-ishlah in my prayers till the next time I visit- cause this is definitely insyaallah not the last!

No idea if I already said this but- ok wait I think I have but still- Happy fasting!

Alhamdulillah, Day 1 of puasa conquered.
Tomorrow will be our last full day here at Al-ishlah, and I am bummed to say the least.
This place has accepted me as one of their own, treating me so well simultaneously as guests and as a member of their huge family.
An accidental interview led to this and I dare say it's none other than fate, a work of Allah SWT and i'll forever be thankful.
I don't want to be emo yet cause sahur here is at 3am hahahaha so I need to rest.
(Anyway I accidentally texted the fams selamat berbuka when they had an hour more to wait oopz sorreh)

It's been a week here and I already regret not daily blogging cause the whole point of me doing this is to document my activities la ok
As of now im waiting for my turn to bathe and get ready- we'll be having breakfast and heading to a nearby village for visiting and interacting with the residents there~

Ah... missed by 8 minutes but it's ok (//edit// 05.19am I just realised I wasn't late at all hahaha)
So turns out the host bought us sim cards which means we have access to the device called handphone
And i've been tasked to update the fb page daily- daily!
So I wont be totally absent blearghhh I wanted to disappear but life has other plans cehh jk
Already hid all my other apps besides fb whatsapp (i sooo want to hide this but alas) and blogger of course importante

So it is (oh ya I just realised the time on the title is Indonesian time- it's 1.13am in SG currently)
Spent almost 12 hours travelling which was funnn I love long bus rides
Alhamdulillah first time taking budgetish airline went smoothly- the landing was exceptionally smooth I closed my eyes to sleep and suddenly we were on land lol kudos mr pilot

The host has been splendid so far; honestly the kind of hosts I hope to be!
Very welcoming and accomodating- they even provide us with toothbrushes soap individual blankets (what are hotels anymore man this is amazing)
Muchas gracias to the nice people at Al-ishlah, we're honestly floored by the hospitality!

Anyway it is ain's 17th birthday honestly this is insane, insane
I don't even remember what age we were both at when I first met her???
Pretty sure I was in pri school but can't exactly recall which level
We met through a RC club cause both our mothers joined thanks to a mutual friend and our families ended up practically combining so literally first day of raya will consist of each other which is so precious
I hope my current friendships reaches that level la ok hahhaa
I truly wish her all the best- I believe in her and of course I have so much love for her!
She was there with me when I was growing up but I guess our process went differently cause I couldnt be there for her while she was growing up.

And auditions for acachamps sounds so formal i mean it is supposed to be formal but it makes everyone scared idek if i'm going to audition but then again elephant is joining acachamps too and it will be so cool to compete on the same stage muahaha

Actually half hoping I dont fall asleep anytime soon cause bruh

Currently at school listening to syaf and syaz's cultural presentation
(ok this ummi trying to get out from performing hahahahah)
Spent my day at city square in decathlon buying 15 balls and miscellaneous items
Managed to hitch and had a fun talk with the driver~
Best part about hitch are usually conversations
Though it means even when im super sleepy, im obliged to talk ehehe nevermind you rest when youre home ok
I saw this post on tumblr about how it would be cool if there was a device that releases gold lights to indicate that it is the last time we see/use things- disturbing yes but it just reminds us of fleetingness; of how sometimes you never know that today is the last time you get to sit at a particular restaurant, a specific bus, strangers you see literally once in a lifetime (cool though if their lights dont shine it means we will see them again even if no interactions are involved)
But anyway, lesson is that we should learn to appreciate every fleeting things because truly nothing is a coincidence and nothing happens without reason.
May we all learn to appreciate life and embrace every emotions.
May we learn to surrender to nature and allow ourselves to feel.

Had a pretty relaxing day, had lunch with yol and then a short progs meeting before heading to clementi with syaz and syaf~
Had dinner with them which was nice!

Tomorrow will be another day of preparation, i'm looking forward for a crazy week ahead but we'll pray for the best ok hopefully everything goes smoothly insyaallah amin!

Had a nice day though the burn comes and goes
Had lunch with yol cause we found out we were at opposite buildings and talked about ancestors hahahhaa
Continued to cut papers from 9am to 7pm with yol and syaz before we had to leave- managed to dinner together which was another nice catchup session (which continued on the train ahaha)
Ended up at yishun interchange idk why because I thought i'd be burnt out by now but I guess not
Will probably knockout once I reach home (doubftul but hopeful at the same time do u feel me)
Im pretty sure I have some things on but I just cant remember hahaha my scheduling days has left me for a while no idea where it went to

Eyy yo
Had quite a nice day, the logistics preparation for bondo trip began and we were painting giant snakes and ladders boards
Aka finally got to holla my painter side hahahaha
Had a session of would you rathers and weird scenarios  (adri: for 2000 a month would you stay in a small room with no devices, with an old lady who does nothing but stare at you from the corner of the room for a year)
Somehow ended up telling ghost stories when I realised I was late to go home ahahais

Anyway here's a list of things I want to repick up as soon as possible, in no particular order

1) Piano: Need I say more.... I miss it a lot, particularly after mama got rid of my organ :') The fact that dan has a new white (freaking electrical) piano makes this feeling soar even more

2) Españyol: Reyrey has been posting solamente in Spanish this past week and as much as I understand him (which still excites me so much hehehah) I want to go full pro I mean cmon life skills

3) Theatre: Kinda want to undergo the whole disturbingly tiring process, kinda don't

4) Painting: I always like the idea of painting for leisure but it's between lazy to start and (like I said before) my (I think) lack of patience when doing art aka I don't really try and take my time

and FOR SHREK'S SAKE,

5) WRESTLING: Although I can just feel the pain I just... idk I want to be in the ring (not the ghost movie hahaha k what)

13 days to the bondo trip and I am beyond stoked to begin with the preparations but you know self hurdle to conquer first ahahais insyaallah he will ease all our affairs
