Hello!
I am proud to announce that... June holidays are here!
*screams excitedly*
Which is both great and nerve-wrecking at the same time.
I got so much of catching up and revision to do this month.
It's on. (Like donkey kong)
(Sorry I had to)
(Wild child ftw)
Okay firstly let me just get this out of my system.
I don't get why Michelle Phan has ridiculous haters when all she's doing is chasing her dreams AND providing platforms to help others achieve theirs.
I feel like it's great that she can be a role model, with a humble start and favourable outcome, she lets people know that it is not impossible to achieve with hardwork, dedication, passion and most importantly, faith.
Ok, phew.
Next up, I had the best CIP with my classmates yesterday.
Started the morning pretty nice, as I reached Jurong exactly at 7.45am.
But the ONE time i'm on time, everyone else came late pffft. (And this happens again the 2nd half of the day hahah)
Went to Blue Cross Thong Kheng home for our CIP and we sure had lots of fun cleaning and interacting with the elders!
Our theme this year is Children, but our class being the unconventional little teapots they are, chose a place where we get to meet elders with child-like behaviours.
The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with someone offering us a high-five and that's just the start of a fun day!
Then some of our classmates got the honour of being beaten up by a local gangsta (hahaha just kidding it was really just a playful banter)
We started by cleaning up the dining hall and dorms while the other group did gardening.
This was really fun, especially with people voluntarily becoming portable radios while wiping tables and chairs with bleached water, and scrubbing walls and railings.
We then proceeded to the interaction part, where we split into 3 groups; 2 games and 1 magic booth.
I had a great time, although they didn't get our magic tricks at times, they still clapped and laughed along with us.
The best part was that majority of them were happy with just playing with balloons!
After a fun session, me and Amel got caught botching card tricks by Jay but then he showed and taught us an impressive card trick!
Suddenly we had an impromptu dance session and the whole class went up on stage to dance!
Some of the elderly joined in and it was a sight to behold.
One of them laughed so hard at her friend who was dancing in front, making the whole thing a lot more entertaining!
After about 5 songs, we had to wrap up as they had to head off to their lunch time.
We then waited for our pizzas (courtesy of our teachers, thank you, bless you guys!) and had lunch at the place itself.
Lunch was interesting because amidst all the pizza-in-the-face-stuffing, we were dancing and singing along to songs we all groaned about.
Literally, "Ugh I hate this song SO much... and I keep hitting repe-pe-pe-pe-pe-peat"
Hahahaha amazing.
Then we had to go for a walk we dreaded initially but ended up enjoying.
For me personally it's the company and the view that made me forget that the words 'hot' and 'tired' exists.
Although we unintentionally split up on our way to Harbourfront (I was alone haha so kudos to me) we still made it (although late) just a bit before our bus arrives!
The bus ride was interesting.
Imagine guys walking up and down passing chocolates, yasss we have our very own stewards.
Went up Mount Faber (passed by CHR's prom venue aw my feels) and started the walk!
Took lots of photos, sang loads of songs and did cheers on our own accord.
We attempted the Abbey Road photo hahahah keyword being attempted.
Once we reached the Teacher's academy, we kicked off a mean game of Captain's ball!
(No rest for us freaks)
Then we were forced to assemble and listened to speeches we couldn't even hear from the sides.
And that was it for the highlights.
But personally these were the moments that will make me sad to graduate.
I'll miss this helluva class and our nice teachers (outside of school definitely; in school they're all monsters no exception)
Honestly, I won't miss the school but I will miss my... friends?
(Friends... what are friends)
And I hope we can all succeed in life one day.
Thank you 13A3, I sayang you all ♡
Yesterday, as if the universe wants to rub it in my face, HollyWireTV released a video about top graduation songs.
Needless to say it made me a little sad but hey.
Time to break out more High school musical songs!
Alright, ditching 2 plans because people are going MIA but I don't mind because I could do with a little rest.
Looking forward to an eventful June holiday!
Adeu ^^
