Rollercoaster

Hello!
I had a pretty good day today.
After the tough few weeks, today started as a clean slate which gave me hope.
HAHA ok that makes no sense.
But seriously though, the bus was so prompt and comfortable, school was actually tolerable and having people excited to see you makes you a happier person.
Despite the horrible common test results, I felt harmonious with my surroundings.
So yes I can only hope that you are having a good day too.
Had to fetch Chiqa from school and of course got to play the heavy rain because no way am I gonna miss the opportunity.

CNY holiday was pretty darn fun, I think the sleepover with STYLO was what pushed me back up.
Started with going to Grandlink on Thursday followed by lepak sesh at usual place with the usuals (stop it eh usuals)
Then spent the night watching 'Suamiku encik perfect 10' which was pretty mediocre if you asked me.
It was entertaining but there were many loopholes (I understand it's an adaptation from a book but like some scenes are meaningless and some scene felt... missing)
Then woke up early to go to Sentosa on Friday with my sisters to catch the lion dance performances!
Made my islander card, finally!
We first hung out at RWS macs and made friends with an auntie when Ika called to say she was already leaving for grampy's place.
The crowd was insane and it was pretty hot initially but we had fun.
Plus, we got free ice-cream from a nice lady and saw a guy who looked like Undertaker.
Then came the fun part, when night fell, we promised to bring chiqa to the mini trampolines for her to play.
We were like 'Argh if only we could play' until we saw that the weight limit was 90kg.
So whaddheck, we went along and played!
It was so much fun for 5 minutes!
(my dream came true and I can bet that it won't be my last time playing that.)
Then as we promised to Chiqa, if she was brave enough to play the bounce thing, we'd buy her candy.
So we skipped along to candylicious and believe it or not out of all the candies and chocolates, she picked the bean boozled.
And then she held it up and said 'Hello my name is Chiqa and today i'm going to do the beans challenge'
Omg so cute hahaha no wonder she chose it, she wanted to make a video like she (probably) had seen on youtube.
So we bought that and a few reese pieces before queuing for the tram (we bounced back duh cause the crowd who wanted to go back to vivo was insane!)
So then we lured Chiqa to follow us to see the Chucky dolls at vivo city and she cried hehehhehe even though she always claims that it's her favourite and we shouldn't be scared of a doll.
And so we lined up for the bus to grandma's place cause Ika and yana had been waiting since 3pm!
While waiting, Chiqa gave chocolates to two bus drivers while wishing them Gong xi fa cai lolol.

So we reached grampy's place around 9.45pm and of course the fun kicked off.
Started with a few rounds of card games where losers had to eat the beans, and talked until Sha arrived (we pretended to be asleep and when she switched on the light we sang out loud)
Had a really great talk with Ika after 2am, and when I say great I mean mindblowing, stomach hurting, laughing spree.
We were literally exhausted after about 2 hours and I felt like I just ran a marathon.
Good laughs like these comes by once in a while but when it comes, it's just so precious (albeit tiring)
Thank you, tom tom bak HAHAHA loved it loveeeeed it!
The next day Yans had to leave early so we started by watching Dead silence on TV before heading down to play badminton.
Then sha and ika treated us macs and thus we hung out till 6pm just talking about the randomest stuff.
They then wanted to photoshoot so we went to a few location and did nonsense (fun nonsense) before resuming our badminton game.
Went back home and resumed our card game till 9pm when Sha and Ika had to go back home.
I hope you ditching revisions and work was worth it, SYO!
Love you guys to bits and hope to frequent our sleepovers!
Adeu ^^

I used to be cool, but now i'm not

Hello!
Feeling rather... Slackish lately.
Not feeling well and I sure am avoiding school.
I want to do my A levels and move on already, tired of my school.
Bleargh.
But the past week has been pretty fun.

Went to Siloso on Friday with Fas and Mel.

And then on Saturday went to a wedding before being brought to a new (weird but chillaxing) karaoke port near Harbourfront with the usuals.
Quite annoying how a lot (like 98%) of youngsters are always on their phones like I am there just "At home, in the bus, at school all not enough is it?"
Pfft whatever just don't want you guys to miss out on life. (haha)

On Sunday headed to East coast before going to grandlink.
*thumbs up for windy afternoons and clear skies*
The beach is just so healing, like I can sit and stare for hours and it feels therapeutic.
I'd love to think it's a medicine that works for anything.

Despite the super chillaxing (not to mention four-days) weekend, I still ended up missing school on Monday and Tuesday.
But I thank mama for allowing me to stay at home just detaching from the world because I've been feeling rather unmotivated and that two days absence from prison really helped.

Went to school just now for a short while before taking 157 with lilidong.
A thing I like about hanging with her and naj is that we always end up talking about life, philosophical stuff and not the usual "Dayum she pisses me off and he's so cute" kinda stuff (these topics comes rarely but we do embrace them sometimes)
But honestly speaking, my school has been a place devoid of joy.
Don't tell me I didn't find it cause hello i'm the walking epitome and personification of fun.

Things get better

Hello!
So i've been feeling a bit better since my previous post, but of course I can always be even better.
Friday morning was kinda annoying, because I left home early for school but I got late because of some dumb students from my relatively dumb school wasted time at the bus stop trying to enter an obviously full bus.
So the bus ended up reaching school like 2 minutes late and I had to just go back home.
But whatever, not like I was gonna let that spoil my mood, I was going to KL anyway!
Reached home and got ready to leave, this time mama and wana tagged along.
Went for breakfast and then met kak faizah, her mum, kak dina and cik dahlia, and waited for our bus which was at 11.30am.

It rained in Singapore but once we reached the Malaysian custom it was sunny.

It all went pretty fast, thankfully.
And then the drive consisted of alternate rainy-sunny areas.

But I was so happy to see KL so sunny!

Love the weather.
We reached around 5+pm and I spent the bulk of the bus journey phoneless.... until I found mama's phone hahaha (yep my phone is spoilt boo)
Right when we reached we attacked my dear Krispy kreme and then walked to Fairlane residence.
The apartment was amazing!

(photo from kak dayah's instagram because of course by the time we reached, the home's already filled with stuff haha)

So we quickly took a quick bath and changed to our orange costumes and then rushed out for someone to pick us up.
The traffic was outrageous but luckily, I had my original glazed doughnut in my hands, and the driver was good at cutting other cars.
We managed to reach about 8 and let me tell you the atmosphere was great!
There was a huge crowd and the red carpet, and so we met the rest of the oranges (wow wth) and queued for entrance.

We were finally granted entrance and we settled down right stage, and slowly our area started to be filled with orange.
It was a sight to behold, I wished I had a drone that could capture the insanity.
There were so many humans in orange it felt like chinese new year.
Hahaha no link im kidding.

So with 2 hours to spare, we started preparing our balloon clappers, light sticks and banners.
Had a little warm-up screaming sesh against the other fan clubs.
Me and wana tried to lead a cheer but it was in english so we failed sorry ugh (tried to translate but it sounded too weird so let's forget it hahaha)
So for humans with no food since morning (for some of us) and only doughnuts filling us, we were pretty darn loud.
Just to be clear, I truly support all the comedians for the hard work in entertaining us, but that night I was Sepahtu represent!
It started with Sepahtu at the top of the voting position.
When the show finally started, Dato Jalal was first to grace the runway, followed by Farah, Taufik and finally Fazura.
(Don't understand why people have to adamantly vent about how much they hate a celebrity like relax bruh, none of my bee's wax)
I was screaming all the way, and the balloon clappers very quickly deflated pfft.
Sepahtu did great with the first theme and the second theme started so heart-meltingly but ofcourse they had to hold back the punchlines pfft guys.
Zero was fun but the first performance was literally overrated, 5 stars pfft judges.
Nabil made a topic so minute be so fun and exactly like Dato Jalal said, (he spoke my mind la seh), we didn't need to laugh, I was just sitting there observing and praising this dude in my mind at the way his brain works.
Shiro's first performance was funny but forgettable, and I loved the second one!
Shasha FTW XD
Bocey kinda stagnated both rounds, why guys (but Achey's floating down was darn cool ok dreams)

I was kinda hoping that the other contestants from first episode would come but they didn't pfft.
(Still didn't get to see Ropie)
Final stage looked barren without Jambu though honestly.
The results time came and my heart almost exploded oh the tension.
Fifth place was Bocey, kinda expected but I felt the disappointment in the air.
When Shiro was announced fourth though, I stood up and gave an ovation because they did pretty well for the second theme, but I admit that I saw that coming.
Nabil was obviously third, the whole crowd was chanting his name.
Everyone around me was like saying "It's his 2nd child's luck" and of course I got so proud of him for doing a great job that night.
Down to the last two.
Zero was announced as winner and everything around me went slow mo, one by one people in orange started to stand up and applaud.
(ok pause, my baby sister just came up to me with her tab... she's watching Sepahtu finals 2013)
I immediately cheered for our heroes, 2nd place!
It is indeed a well-deserved win for Zero, they have put in immense effort in each of their performances.
I admit it was REALLY weird not hearing 'Se-pah-tu' as the champion, my brain was so frazzled and torn between pride and overwhelm.
I kinda shed a tear but even I was confused why' was it disappointment that Sepahtu didn't win first place, or was it just relief after all that had happened with Sepahtu, they managed to go against the odds and achieve such a victory?
It felt more like the former in the initial moments, even when I had in fact accepted the fact that our heroes lost despite the high hopes I harboured.
I knew that Zero could win, I knew it from the start.
But I guess it was hard at that point of time to rationalize this awkward newness.
But ofcourse, I sooner got over it and celebrated Sepahtu's 2nd place win!
(duhh, how can you NOT be proud?!)
But walking outside to a crowd of disappointed, lowly spirited humans in orange, and having a group of disgusting hooligans walking past us purposefully chanting the champion's name just because they harbour hatred towards one of our heroes made me so annoyed.
Come on la, this is pure entertainment, why you gotta bring politics into the picture.
Ugh, low life losers with their colourful wigs and banana shirts.

(photo from kak abby's facebook)

Hung outside for a while before we went for supper(at a place with orange tables wow hahaha), an ambiance of sadness filled the air but I appreciate the efforts some people put in to pick themselves up and lighten the mood.
I for one don't understand why we have to be so disappointed, I mean, it's still a win, it's just less money and a different coloured trophy.
I guess now I understand why second place is the worst.
You're so close to the top.
Ok whatever let's move on!
The food was pretty good!
And we kinda bullied the uncles into helping us take photos haha.
Reached our hotel a little before 5am and enjoyed the cool air outside for awhile.
Aura didn't bother to change into our sleeping clothes (just pants), and then sat in the living room starting to talk and rant and discuss.
(one of my favourite parts about travelling with aura muahhaa)
Watched the devil wears Prada while talking and then one by one they fell asleep so I followed suit around 6.45am.

Woke up the next morning and headed to our favourite Old town at kenanga wholesale, and did a little shopping before heading back to times square for two hours of karaoke.
Ended with Heartattack but my voice is still with me.
Amazing eh, after more than 6 hours of non-stop shouting and then screaming in the karaoke booth.
Went to times square to purchase some last minute snacks (of course, my darling krispy kreme) and so boarded the bus at 5.30pm.

The journey back was pretty nice but as usual, whenever I leave KL after an event, I feel sad.
We didn't meet our heroes this time, couldn't stand to wait and anyway their families were there.
Despite it being not the best experience, I had the best time thanks to the company.
Thank you everyone, and thank you god for allowing this trip to happen and protecting us in our journey to and fro.
Thank you superheroes for making our trip worthwhile, I had so much fun and am already looking forward for the next event! (made a promise to Naj though, that this is the last time I ditch school for KL hahah)

Always love my trips with Aura, and this time it was better cause my hilarious mama tagged along.
All in all, I hope for the comedy world to be less of a competition and more of a combined effort to entertain, because that's what their true intentions should be.
Whatever it is, stay great,Sepahtu cause your etiquette and effortless comedy puts you in your own league.

In other words, MLM 2015, here we come!
Sepahtu and Nabil might be taking their well deserved break, but Jozan better make a comeback because I need motivation for my big As and Jozan is the best solution.
(probably Jep scared to distract me from my studies HAHAHA)
Alright, this has been fun.
Adeu ^^

ps i have yet to post the previous trips, all from the M7 in JB to the best KL trip. i need to post them quickly and share my excitement!
