Hello!
Hahahaaa title has GOT TO GO
I know it's not the actual quote but hey.
Anyways I have come to realise one fact that kinda stops a lot of people from living a fulfilling, successful life, and that is the fact that we rarely, if not never, live in the present.
As much as it sounds like some sort of time travellish witchcraft here it's just all in our minds.
Like you know, when was the last time you actually stop your mind from going astray?
Like you'll just be staring into open space and idk, either reminiscing or imagining or planning.
You're just never present.
Being in the present is having your all at that particular moment.
Being able to observe and not only "attracted" by interesting events.
Oh how much time have I wasted in my thoughts (and the internet) that I forget that TODAY is the day to sieze.
That I can't wait for the 'right day' or time cause it'll never come unless we create and seek it ourselves.
(just hold up a second why am I getting all philosophical at 3.26am pfft)
One thing I dread more than being unable to fall asleep is waking up in the wee hours when you have school/work in like 3-4 hours, and you can't go back to sleep cause 1) You just can't 2) You're afraid to miss the alarm
Not always a bad thing though, sometimes it seems like my body's way of telling me to prepare my things early or something.
Anyways, now I can't fall asleep and as much as I resisted the tempation of whipping out my mobile device (the light from your phone makes it harder for humans to fall asleep) (or we can blame it on the apps hahahah) I just couldn't.
And before I try a meditation technique I just saw online, I figured I should blog first so as to keep my brain slightly active and perhaps reduce any chances of oversleeping.
(My logic. MY logic) hahahahaha
Anyways ya, it's my last day of work today and how apt is it that my last day of work coincides with christmas eve! (which means; Half day!)
And then off to KL in several hours time.
Ayy Im looking forward!
May god protect us throughout the trip and let us have a safe journey to and fro.
Amin!
Alrighty, since I have.. 2 and a half hours left before i'm obliged to get ready, I shall take Nikki bella's advice of "Having 2 hours of sleep is much better than none at all"
So... Good morning humans and all.
Adeu ^^
