Effortless

Hello!
I truly apologize for keeping you unupdated.
(horrible grammar alert)
I really want to record all my experience the whole of this year, but it's just too... hard to put them into words.
I'd probably be unable to express myself and convey everything i felt, saw, heard and experienced in their truest form.
But I will blog about those someday.
And i HAVE to tell you guys this!
I finally got to achieve 3 (and some more) of my dreams during my most recent KL trip on 7th May.
Okay get this, exactly a week ago.... I SAW SITI NURHALIZA!
*SCREAMZZZZZZZZ*
it ws truly, truly, really a dream come true i mean i just can't put into words how precious that moment is to me!
And I also met my ZANG!
Gahhhhhhhhh this is amaizing it was so overwhelming I couldn't stop smiling the whole weekend (i probably didnt stop smiling in my sleep too)
And i got to be a part of Karoot Komedia recording, including episode Raya some more!
It was a dream come true, thanks to kaikai who introduced that show to me till I memorized every episode and now i can say i'm in one of those hahahahaha
(im sorry if the previous sentence made no sense)
Also i got to see Ebby yus and Sabri yunus like WOWWWWWWW!
And also, Jep is so.....amaizing :')
I'm just annoyed at how he and zizan has like so little chemistry (very awkward) together especially on stage like noooooo i adore both of you why do this D:

Okay, since i cant really type all my experiences i shall talk about yesterday.
Had my first ever formal wedding performance with Blessed and her church mates for a wedding near Clarke quay!
It was a pretty cool experience and the mic was good bahaha.
Had a lot of fun with her though I was kinda bummed to have missed Bahas quarter finals.
Anyway after the wedding ended, (i got kitkat but zang's face weren't there hahha) we went to hougang mall and ate pastamania (thanks to Blessed's friend for the treat hahaah)
Then I took a long bus ride to Woodlands and then off to cik lin's house for Ain's birthday party
Wow it was so filled with food I didn't know what to eat like wow.
And mama made the birthday cake omg they tasted splendid!
(warning adjective is an understatement)
But it was quite sad everyone (the kids and youngsters) were busy with their own phones and group of friends, i mean that for me usually, everytime there's a gathering, all the young people will combine forces and play together with no care whether you're a friend or stranger.
Ahh, great times.
This is a culture we should keep!
Alright, my fingers hurt idont even knlw why.
Meeting Yol, Nelly and Eatgo finally this coming Saturday!
And 2 weeks to june holidays, I am most excited.
School sucks!

No longer

No longer shall I be a slave to technology
When i look back I see wasted time,
wasted memories, wasted lives.
Us trying to capture each moment,
with the lens, and not adamant-
on filling our hearts with memories,
We would most likely not take the risk.
In fear of forgetting one day, we update everything we have to say.
We take snapshots of life, but is it really, real life?
At home we sit alone by the side, typing away, visiting site-to-site.
At school we crave the breaktime to rest, just to again curl up in a nest.
Of technology and media, we forget to be there.
We forget to love, we forget to live.
We forget to serve , we forget to give.
We forget growing children, forget to try our best,
to give them the best childhood, but no, we wanna 'rest'.
Rest in the bed with devices in hand, still tired in the day, things mess with our brains.
We forget our family, how we used to be.
Laughing over dinner, outings every week.
Now we're all too busy, with the illusion.
That the world online is much more important.
We forget to live and chase the moment,
we prioritize 'check in-s' and likes and comments.
The number of followers define who we are,
but when we're outside, who is really there?
You stand alone, feeling lonely.
Here comes a need to seek comfort from reality.
You open your twitter and seek companion,
what about everyone around, have you forgotten?
We shall not continue being slaves,
We got to make it count, our number of days.
I am truly guilty of this, and I have thought about this a lot of times.
But the need to stay updated and to update might make it hard.
Come to think of it, nothing we see online is truly important.
There is no regrets switching on your mobile data only for an hour each night, only if the need is pestering.
Other than that, we got to realise.
These technologies are taking our lives away.
Get out, play in the rain, jump in puddles and pools without fear of your phone getting wet,
embrace being the last to know, embrace being un-updated.
If something is truly important, you will get to know eventually.
No need to be scared of missing out.
Save yourself the regrets, so when you look back, you see nothing but a trillion sweet memoirs.
You cannot replicate life.
Online medias are not life.
Life is fresh air, conversations, awkward moments.
Life is mistakes and laughters, tears and time wasted.
But if time wasted is enjoyed wasting,
then why feel bad, it is what it is!

Like im so stoked to see him and Sarah!
Aura will be coming down (hopefully kak dayah gets well fast)
But im so sad kaikai is not coming booooo!
Shuib is like her name in my phone contacts ok!
hahaha and also I didn't really ask yol cause she'd probably won't go cause there's like school tomorrow hahaha.

Anyways I wanna go to KKX3 shooting omgeshhh ZIZAN IS IN T.T
And ofcourse my Sepahtu, Ebby yus and idk i hope pak yus is in.

Okay, i should be doing my WR now xD
First draft is due tonight/tomorrow!
And, Bahas camp starts tomorrow yayyyy!
